SAP B1 functional Consultant

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SAP B1 Functional Consultant role based in Indore. The consultant will work closely with SME clients to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and map them to SAP Business One functionalities. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and customizing SAP B1 modules, preparing functional specifications, conducting system testing, and supporting implementations and go-lives. The role involves providing end-user training, troubleshooting functional issues, coordinating with technical teams for enhancements, and ensuring that solutions align with clients’ operational and financial goals. The consultant will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, documentation, and post-implementation support.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills for understanding business requirements, process optimization, and problem-solving.
Solid communication skills for stakeholder interaction, requirements gathering, user training, and documentation.
Knowledge of business processes across areas such as inventory, sales, purchasing, production, and operations.
Consulting capabilities, including client management, solution design, and implementation support in ERP environments.
Understanding of finance-related processes, such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reporting within ERP systems.
Hands-on experience or training in SAP Business One configuration and functional setup is highly desirable.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and align technical work with business outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
