Supply Chain Director

Role Description The Supply Chain Director role at Black Hat India is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain planning and execution for the event. This role includes coordinating production planning for event materials, equipment, and services, and ensuring timely procurement of vendors and supplies aligned with budget and quality standards. The director will manage supply chain operations such as logistics, warehousing, shipping, and on-site delivery to support Trainings, Briefings, and related activities. Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring inventory levels, optimizing processes, analyzing data to improve efficiency, and mitigating risks related to sourcing and transportation. The role also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and event management, to ensure smooth and cost-effective event delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supply Chain Management and Supply Chain Operations skills to oversee end-to-end event logistics and execution.
Candidates should possess Production Planning skills to forecast requirements and coordinate the timely availability of materials and services.
Candidates should possess Procurement skills to identify, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships and contracts.
Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, optimize processes, and support decision-making for cost, risk, and performance improvements.
Experience in events, conferences, or large-scale operations, especially in technology or cybersecurity, is beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications in supply chain or logistics are an advantage.
