About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced operational leader to establish, scale, and manage our nationwide network of freelance claims investigators. The candidate will drive the end-to-end management of field investigations for Personal Accident (PA), Group Personal Accident (GPA), and Workmen’s Compensation (WC) claims across India.
Key Responsibilities
Network Acquisition & Expansion: Source, recruit, background-verify, and onboard freelance field investigators, local intelligence gathering agents, retired police personnel, and advocates across Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3, and rural locations in India.
Field Operations Management: Assign incoming PA/GPA/WC investigation cases to local freelancers based on territory coverage and skill sets, ensuring adherence to strict SLAs and Turnaround Times (TAT).
Quality & Evidence Verification: Audit investigation reports, statements, medical records, FIRs/panchnamas, employer register checks, and spot verification reports submitted by freelancers before final delivery to insurance clients.
Training & Onboarding: Train freelancers on standard operating procedures (SOPs), ethical data gathering, evidence collection standards, and anti-bribery policies.
Cost & Fee Management: Negotiate case-by-case commercial terms, manage payout structures, and track performance SLAs for the freelancer network.
Client & Field Escalation Handling: Act as the central point of contact for complex field issues, localized disruptions, and urgent/high-value claims.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Graduation in any discipline (LL.B or background in Criminology preferred).
Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Insurance Claims Investigation, Fraud Control Unit (FCU), Risk Minimization, or Vendor Network Management within the General Insurance or TPA industry.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of PA, GPA, and Workmen’s Compensation (WC) claims procedures, legal documentation (FIR, PMR, Form EE, Labour Commissioner notices), and hospital/employer verification techniques.
Network reach: Existing contacts or proven capability to recruit local field agents pan-India.
Languages: Proficiency in English and Hindi is mandatory; knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
