Role: Oracle Finance / Finance Systems Analyst

Role Overview
The candidate will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Business, and Technical teams to analyze business requirements, troubleshoot finance system issues, and support enhancements and implementations within Oracle Financial applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong understanding of invoice processing, AP/AR transactions, payment processing, accounting flows, reconciliations, and integration between finance modules and upstream/downstream systems.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and finance requirements related to AP, AR, Invoicing, Payments, and General Ledger.
Provide functional support for Oracle Finance applications and resolve production issues.
Understand and troubleshoot the complete Invoice-to-Pay (I2P/P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
Support supplier invoice processing, invoice validation, holds, approvals, matching, and payment processing.
Support customer invoicing, receipts, credit memos, adjustments, and collections.
Analyze invoice and payment-related issues and identify root causes.
Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
Perform functional testing, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
Support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
Assist with reconciliation between AP, AR, GL, bank, and external systems.
Analyze accounting entries generated from invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
Support interfaces between Oracle Finance and third-party applications.
Monitor and troubleshoot finance-related interfaces and data discrepancies.
Work with Finance and Accounting teams to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
Provide root-cause analysis and resolution for recurring finance system issues.
