Role Description The Assistant Food Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Kowju Airport Hotel Calicut Near Calicut Airport. This role oversees daily food and beverage operations across the restaurant, banquet hall, and other service areas, ensuring consistent quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising service staff, coordinating menus and offerings with the culinary team, monitoring inventory, and supporting cost control and budgeting efforts. The Assistant Food Beverage Manager assists in planning and executing events, implements service standards, and handles guest feedback in a professional manner. The role also involves training team members, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in achieving operational and revenue goals.
Qualifications
Minimum 8+ years Food Service and Food & Beverage operational skills, with experience in restaurant and banquet environments.
Proven Customer Service abilities, with a focus on guest satisfaction, complaint resolution, and professional communication.
Experience in Training team members, including coaching, performance guidance, and maintaining service standards.
Knowledge of Budgeting and cost control practices related to food and beverage operations.
Prior experience in hotel or hospitality F&B roles, preferably in a 4-star or similar environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple priorities, and lead diverse teams effectively.
Familiarity with food safety, hygiene standards, and relevant local regulations.
Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by hotel operations.
