Role Description As an Interior Designer at artek, architects and interior designers, you will work full time on-site in the Pune Division. You will be responsible for developing interior design concepts, preparing mood boards, and creating detailed layouts that respond to client requirements and project constraints. Typical day-to-day tasks include space planning, preparing construction drawings, coordinating with architects and contractors, and selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). You will participate in client meetings, site visits, and design reviews, ensuring design intent is maintained through documentation and execution. The role also involves collaborating with project teams, managing design revisions, and supporting project delivery within agreed schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E selection, with the ability to translate concepts into coherent design schemes.
Experience in Space Planning, including layout optimization and circulation planning for residential and/or commercial projects.
Working knowledge of Architecture principles to coordinate interior design with structural and architectural elements.
Proficiency in preparing and reading Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
Ability to use design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to interact professionally with clients, consultants, and site teams.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines on-site.
