Role Description The Information Technology Executive internship role is an on-site position based at Radisson Hotel Group in Ahmedabad. This role supports day-to-day IT operations within the hotel, including monitoring systems, assisting with hardware and software setup, and helping maintain secure, reliable network and server environments. The intern will provide first-level technical support to team members, respond to service requests, and assist in diagnosing and resolving IT issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth hotel operations. Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation of incidents and configurations, coordinating with external vendors or corporate IT when required, and contributing to implementation of IT policies and data security standards. The role offers hands-on experience with hospitality IT systems and requires close collaboration with hotel departments to support guest services and internal processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Information Technology and IT Operations skills, with an interest in hospitality technology environments.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and document user issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess Network Administration skills to assist in managing wired and wireless networks, user access, and basic security configurations.
Relevant educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (ongoing or completed) is beneficial.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS), standard office software, and basic hardware installation is advantageous.
Strong communication, customer service orientation, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced hotel environment are required.
Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain confidentiality, and follow IT policies and security guidelines is expected.
