Role Description The Social Media Manager will manage BROADNECTION’s and clients’ social media presence across platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging and audience engagement. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves planning and executing social media campaigns, developing content calendars, and optimizing posts for reach and performance. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with PR, content, and design teams to create compelling copy, visuals, and multimedia content tailored to each platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring social channels, responding to audience interactions, analyzing performance metrics, preparing reports and insights, and recommending data-driven improvements. The role also includes staying current with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to enhance brand visibility and campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across platforms.
Candidates should possess effective Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content for diverse audiences.
Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills to develop content calendars, align messaging with brand goals, and adapt content to different channels.
Candidates should ideally have experience with social media analytics tools, audience insights, and basic reporting to guide data-informed decisions.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, are beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced agency environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines is preferred.
Familiarity with industries such as travel, beauty, wellness, fashion, IT, hospitality, education, FMCG, or property is an advantage.
