Role Description The Holiday Sales Expert will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, engaging directly with clients to understand their travel needs and recommend suitable holiday packages. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with customers in person and via phone or digital channels, presenting travel options, preparing quotations, and closing sales for individual, group, and corporate travel. The role involves coordinating with operations and ticketing teams to ensure accurate bookings, documentation, and timely follow-ups. The Holiday Sales Expert will maintain up-to-date knowledge of destinations, offers, and seasonal promotions, while providing professional, courteous service to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business. The role also includes maintaining sales records, meeting sales targets, and representing Bluestone Travels’ brand values in every client interaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Sales and Retail Sales skills, with a proven ability to convert inquiries into bookings and meet or exceed targets.
Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Customer Experience skills, focusing on building trust, handling queries, and resolving issues effectively.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, including confident spoken and written English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of travel products, destinations, and holiday packages, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new offerings and systems.
Experience in a travel agency, hospitality, or retail sales environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Comfort with using computers, CRM or booking tools, and standard office software to manage leads and customer information.
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric mindset; ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad on a full-time schedule.
Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a degree in tourism, business, or a related field is an added advantage. Minimum 6 months of experience is mandatory for this role.
Salary
Probation:
Duration: 6 months
Salary during probation: ₹20,000 - 25,000 /month
After probation:
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,40,500 - 5,00,000 /year
Annual CTC breakup:
1. Fixed pay: ₹ 2,20,000 - 2,60,000 /year
2. Variable pay/Incentives: ₹ 500 - 2,40,000 /year
