Role Description The Assistant Manager Human Resources will support the end-to-end HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations. This full-time, on-site role is based in New Delhi and involves partnering with leadership and team managers to understand staffing needs, manage hiring processes, and ensure a positive employee experience. Daily responsibilities include maintaining HR records, coordinating training and development initiatives, administering HR policies, handling employee queries, and supporting payroll and compliance activities. The role also includes assisting with HR analytics, preparing reports, and contributing to culture-building activities such as internal communication and events. The Assistant Manager HR will collaborate across departments to strengthen HR best practices and help build a high-performing, inclusive workplace.
Qualifications
Strong HR operations and administration skills, including employee lifecycle management, HR documentation, and record-keeping.
Experience in talent acquisition and recruitment processes, including job posting, screening, interviewing coordination, and onboarding.
Knowledge of performance management, employee engagement, and basic training and development practices.
Familiarity with HR compliance, labor laws, and payroll coordination in the Indian context.
Proficiency with HRIS or HR-related software, MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and basic HR analytics/reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate HR qualification or relevant certification is an advantage.
Prior experience in an Assistant Manager HR or similar HR generalist role in a design, technology, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
