Udupi's bus network still runs on paper tickets and no data. We're changing that, and we want one person to own it.
Xplor builds the payments and intelligence layer for public transport: ticketing, live tracking, fleet analytics and a rider app used by thousands of commuters daily across Kerala and coastal Karnataka.
The role
You own the Udupi hub end to end. Not just sales, not just ops — the whole market.
• Map and onboard every fleet operator in the region
• Own ground execution: installs, driver training, terminal support, day-to-day operator issues
• Build real relationships with owner-operators who decide on trust
• Drive commuter adoption of the rider app and transit card
• Own the hub's numbers and report honestly on what the market says
• Be the voice of Udupi to our product and tech teams
You'll do well here if you
• Speak fluent Kannada (Tulu is a real plus) and can hold an internal call in English
• Have a two-wheeler or car and are happy on the road 4+ days a week
• Can take rejection, go back, and close anyway
• Explain a tech product in terms of revenue leakage and driver accountability, not features
• Have 2–4 years in field sales or field ops — fintech, telematics, FMCG distribution, automotive or insurance all translate
