Senior Database Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Architect with extensive experience in database architecture and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance tuning and optimization, data streaming, and ETL pipelines. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring, observability, and incident triage, along with a collaborative mindset to integrate DevOps practices into database management.
Responsibilities
Design and implement robust database architectures that meet business requirements.
Optimize database performance through tuning and best practices.
Develop and maintain data streaming and ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data flow.
Monitor database performance and implement observability tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Lead incident triage efforts to quickly address database-related incidents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices into database management.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.
Mandatory Skills
Proven experience in database architecture and development.
Strong expertise in performance tuning and optimization of databases.
Hands-on experience with data streaming technologies and ETL pipeline development.
Proficient in monitoring and observability tools for database management.
Experience in incident triage and resolution.
Strong collaboration skills and experience with DevOps integration.
Expertise in Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
