The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Palo Alto Networks firewalls and will be responsible for providing high-level technical support and troubleshooting for our clients. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Provide Level 2 support for Palo Alto Networks firewalls, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Analyze and troubleshoot complex network security problems, providing effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance firewall configurations and security policies.
Document support processes, solutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Assist in the deployment and configuration of Palo Alto firewalls in various environments.
Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in Palo Alto Networks technologies.
Provide training and support to junior team members as needed.
Mandatory Skills
Proven experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving firewall-related issues.
Familiarity with network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
Certifications such as PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) are a plus.
Experience with other security technologies (IDS/IPS, VPN, etc.).
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
Experience in a customer-facing support role.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in network security support, specifically with Palo Alto Networks products.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
