Role Description
The MEP Design Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam, responsible for coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design across residential projects.
This role involves reviewing and integrating MEP drawings with architectural and structural designs, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
The coordinator will manage design submittals, track approvals, and collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to resolve design clashes and execution issues.
Day-to-day tasks include preparing and updating design documentation, supporting project planning and scheduling, attending site coordination meetings, and providing technical guidance to site teams.
The position also requires monitoring design changes, maintaining clear communication among stakeholders, and contributing to quality, safety, and cost-effective design solutions.
Qualifications
Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related engineering field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in MEP coordination or construction projects.
Experience in residential / villa / turnkey projects will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
Basic knowledge of HVAC and other building services.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
