About the Role
We're looking for a Chartered Accountant who doesn't just crunch numbers but actually understands the story behind them. This role sits at the heart of the business — you'll own the P&L, build MIS reports that people actually use, and work closely with different teams to help them make smarter decisions. Think of it as being the finance person who "gets" the business, not just the books.
Key Responsibilities
P&L Management
Prepare, analyze, and own the monthly/quarterly Profit & Loss statement
Track revenue, costs, and margins against budget and prior periods
Flag variances early and explain the "why," not just the "what"
Work with cost centers to ensure accurate cost allocation
MIS & Reporting
Design and maintain MIS dashboards/reports for management review
Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and easy to understand at a glance
Automate recurring reports where possible to reduce manual effort
Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights as requested by leadership
Business Partnering
Act as the finance point of contact for business/functional teams
Translate financial data into practical insights that non-finance people can use
Support budgeting, forecasting, and business case evaluations
Challenge business assumptions constructively — a good finance partner asks the right questions, not just approves numbers
Build trust-based relationships across departments (like a family member who's honest but supportive)
Qualification
