Role Description The Computer Teacher role at Demroo is a full-time, on-site position based in Hoshiarpur. The Computer Teacher will design and deliver computer science and programming lessons, adapting instructional content to different learning levels and monitoring learner progress. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating and updating curriculum materials, conducting practical lab sessions, and providing guidance on foundational and advanced computing concepts. The role involves assessing performance through assignments and tests, offering constructive feedback, and maintaining clear, respectful communication with learners and colleagues. The Computer Teacher will also collaborate with the team to integrate relevant industry practices into the curriculum and promote digital literacy and responsible technology use.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts and related technologies.
Practical experience with Programming (e.g., one or more modern programming languages).
Effective Communication skills for explaining complex topics clearly to diverse learners.
Experience in Curriculum Development, including lesson planning and learning activity design.
Demonstrated Teaching skills in classroom or training environments.
Relevant academic background (e.g., degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field).
Ability to use educational and digital tools (learning management systems, presentation software, coding platforms).
Strong organizational skills, patience, and a learner-focused approach.
Prior experience as a computer instructor, trainer, or educator is an advantage.
