Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer based in the Pune District. The MEP Engineer will design, review, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with local codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Daily tasks include preparing drawings and technical documentation, performing load calculations, reviewing shop drawings, and resolving site-level coordination issues with project teams and contractors. The role involves conducting inspections, monitoring installation quality, supporting testing and commissioning activities, and identifying opportunities to improve energy efficiency and system reliability. The MEP Engineer will also participate in progress meetings, provide clear technical inputs, and support timely project delivery.
Qualifications
Strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering skills, including experience with integrated building services design and coordination.
Working knowledge of Plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sanitary systems, and relevant codes and standards.
Proficiency in Electrical Engineering fundamentals related to building services, such as power distribution, lighting, and safety systems.
Experience with MEP Coordination across disciplines, including clash detection, drawing review, and alignment with architectural and structural plans.
Understanding of Building Services engineering principles, including HVAC basics, fire protection interfaces, and energy-efficient system design.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards; familiarity with CAD or BIM tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and site coordination skills, with attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and site personnel.
Relevant experience in building MEP projects in India; knowledge of local regulations and IS codes is beneficial.
