Role Description The Educator role at Self is a full-time remote position focused on designing and delivering engaging learning experiences for a wide range of learners. On a day-to-day basis, the Educator develops lesson plans and learning materials, facilitates live or asynchronous teaching sessions, and adapts content to different learning styles and levels. The role includes assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and updating curriculum based on outcomes and learner needs. The Educator collaborates with other team members to refine training programs, integrate new educational tools, and ensure consistent quality across all offerings. This position requires strong self-management, clear communication in remote settings, and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Lesson Planning and curriculum design for diverse learners.
Solid foundation in Education theory and practice, with experience applying it in real-world learning environments.
Strong Communication abilities, including clear written and verbal interaction in remote formats.
Proven Teaching experience, with the ability to facilitate engaging and supportive learning sessions.
Experience in Training, coaching, or mentoring individuals or groups.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Comfort with digital learning platforms and basic instructional technology; willingness to learn new tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
