Company Description Siru Isai Studios is a creative production studio that helps brands tell their stories through impactful visual content. The team focuses on decoding each brand’s unique identity and building cinematic videos, motion graphics, and social media content around that foundation. Siru Isai Studios produces brand films, promotional videos, and short-form content designed to feel authentic and connect with audiences. The studio also offers motion graphics, explainer videos, product and commercial photography, and visual branding. Clients include startups, small businesses, and growing brands seeking strong, memorable visual storytelling.
Role Description The Video Editor will be responsible for editing cinematic videos, promotional content, and short-form social media assets that align with each client’s brand identity. Day-to-day work includes assembling raw footage, selecting takes, applying transitions, color grading, sound syncing, and integrating motion graphics or text overlays as needed. The role involves collaborating with creative directors and producers to refine narratives, maintain visual consistency, and deliver content optimized for various platforms. The Video Editor will also organize media assets, follow project timelines, and provide export-ready files in required formats. This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, structuring narratives, and preparing deliverables for different formats and platforms.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, cinematic visuals and to enhance mood, tone, and brand aesthetics.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, overlays, and visual elements that support storytelling.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion tools (e.g., After Effects) is highly beneficial.
Relevant experience in branded content, social media video, or commercial projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, communicate clearly in a remote environment, and collaborate effectively with creative and client teams.
Familiarity with aspect ratios, codecs, and platform specifications (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and a basic understanding of sound design and audio mixing.
