Technical Analyst – Batch Support

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and technically proficient Technical Analyst to join our Core Banking Support (CBS) team. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in PL/SQL and hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE. This role involves supporting critical banking operations, troubleshooting application issues, and ensuring the smooth functioning of core banking systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for Oracle FLEXCUBE modules, including CASA, Loans, General Ledger (GL), and other core banking functions.
Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot End of Day (EOD) and Beginning of Day (BOD) batch processes.
Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL scripts and database objects to support business and operational requirements.
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve application and database-related issues within agreed SLAs.
Collaborate with business users, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operations.
Ensure timely closure of incidents, service requests, and production support tickets.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge repositories.
Participate in rotational shifts to provide continuous support for critical banking applications.
Identify opportunities to improve system performance, stability, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in application or production support, preferably in banking applications.
Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
Hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE and its key modules such as CASA, Loans, and GL.
Good understanding of FLEXCUBE EOD/BOD processes and operational workflows.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production support environment.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Banking and Financial Services domain.
Exposure to other Core Banking Systems (CBS) and banking applications.
Understanding of banking operations, transaction processing, and regulatory requirements.
