Role Description
This isn't just a kitchen job. It's ownership of an entire vertical at Urban Platter — and honestly, one of the most exciting roles on our team right now.
We need someone who understands food at a scientific level, not just a culinary one. Someone who can look at a pantry, a trend, or a customer problem and come back with a new recipe, a content idea, a workshop, an experience — without waiting to be asked. You see the gap, you build the thing.
You're painstakingly particular about everything — recipes, ingredients, presentation, process. Inventory management isn't a chore for you, it's a discipline.
You're comfortable on camera — cooking, talking, explaining — and the presence to hold a room or a lens. You're plugged into what's happening in food and experiences, and you bring ideas back to the team to build.
You'll also lead methodical, well-documented sampling of the products we receive throughout the year — building a real point of view on what we sell.
You are someone who can create systems and scale these experiences not just in 1 city but in multiple ones.
