Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barber role based at CULT.SALON & EDUCATION in Surat. The Barber will perform day-to-day services including hair cutting, shaving, beard design, and basic grooming for clients, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer care. Responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their preferences, recommending suitable styles, and providing aftercare guidance for hair and scalp health. The role also involves maintaining workstations and tools, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols, and supporting the wider salon team with a professional and positive attitude. Barbers may be invited to participate in training sessions and educational activities to enhance skills and stay updated on new techniques and trends.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Barbering and Hair Cutting, with the ability to deliver precise and consistent results.
Proficiency in Hair Styling, including modern and classic styles tailored to diverse client needs.
Knowledge of Hair Care practices to advise clients on maintenance, products, and scalp health.
Foundational understanding of Cosmetology principles relevant to grooming and hair services.
Relevant professional training or certification in barbering or hairdressing; formal cosmetology education is an advantage.
Previous experience in a salon or barbershop setting, preferably in a client-facing role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused and inclusive approach.
Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a steady client flow while maintaining quality and professionalism
