The Role
We are seeking an Arabic Translator / Arabic-English Translator / Translation Specialist to support high-quality Arabic-English translation and localization projects. This part-time remote opportunity is suited to a language professional with strong attention to detail, cultural awareness, and excellent written communication skills. You will work with different types of business content while helping ensure that translated materials remain accurate, natural, and appropriate for their intended audience.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business, marketing, operational, and general content between Arabic and English.
Review translated materials for accuracy, clarity, grammar, tone, and consistency.
Localize content to reflect appropriate Arabic and English cultural and communication conventions.
Coordinate with internal teams to understand translation requirements and intended audiences.
Maintain consistent terminology and style across recurring translation projects.
Proofread and edit translated documents before final delivery.
Support website, digital, presentation, correspondence, and other content localization.
Research terminology and subject-specific language when required.
Manage multiple translation assignments while meeting agreed deadlines.
Provide language guidance and recommendations to stakeholders when appropriate.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Translation, Languages, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3+ years of professional translation or bilingual communication experience is preferred.
Strong command of both Arabic and English, with excellent written and reading abilities.
Strong understanding of Arabic-English language structure, terminology, and cultural context.
Knowledge of professional translation, proofreading, editing, and localization practices.
Familiarity with business, marketing, technical, or corporate content is an advantage.
Proficiency in maintaining consistent terminology, tone, and formatting across documents.
Ability to research unfamiliar terminology and produce accurate translations.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments remotely.
Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional communication.
