Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Public Relations Specialist role based in Mumbai. The Public Relations Specialist will develop and execute PR strategies, draft press releases and media materials, coordinate with journalists and media outlets, and manage day-to-day communication with clients. Responsibilities include planning and implementing PR campaigns, supporting influencer and brand collaborations, monitoring media coverage, and preparing reports on campaign performance. The role also involves maintaining media lists, nurturing relationships with key media and industry stakeholders, supporting event-related PR activities, and ensuring consistent, brand-aligned messaging across channels.
Qualifications
Strong foundational skills in Public Relations and Media Relations, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.
Proficiency in Press Releases and Strategic Communications, including drafting, editing, and distributing high-quality content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly, manage client expectations, and collaborate effectively within a team.
Relevant experience in PR, influencer marketing, or communications, preferably in sectors such as fashion, beauty, entertainment, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with social media platforms, digital PR tools, and media monitoring or reporting tools is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
