About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, IDENTITY is responsible for developing and optimizing backend services that power the organization's identity graph platform. This role focuses on managing large-scale distributed systems with high throughput and low latency, ensuring reliability, scalability, and observability. The position contributes to advancing the platform's capabilities by designing APIs, enhancing data pipelines, deploying cloud-native services, and collaborating across teams to deliver impactful identity solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and build backend services and APIs for identity resolution, graph transparency, and platform integrations.
Optimize event-driven pipelines processing billions of signals.
Deploy and operate cloud-native services on EKS/Kubernetes using Helm.
Ensure reliability, observability, and scalability across services and data pipelines.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver identity solutions.
Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in backend and/or data engineering at enterprise scale.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala with expertise in API design and distributed systems.
Experience with Kafka, streaming frameworks (Spark, Hive, Flink), and schedulers (Airflow, Luigi).
Knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS cloud deployment.
Skill in SQL, complex data modeling, and high-throughput NoSQL/columnar databases (Aerospike, Snowflake, Scylla).
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000, depending on location and experience.
