About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Company Description Gift is a social platform designed to build genuine communities around shared interests, creators, and brands. Instead of promoting individual performance, Gift focuses on celebrating others through meaningful exchanges of photos, videos, links, and messages. Profiles are shaped by what others choose to send, creating identities based on real relationships rather than self-promotion. Communities on Gift thrive through authentic connection, allowing fans, creators, and brands to grow together. The platform’s core mission is to make social media truly about bringing people together.
Role Description The College Music Intern will support Gift’s music-related community initiatives by discovering emerging college artists, curating playlists, and highlighting music that aligns with user interests and platform values. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching college and local music scenes, engaging with student music communities, contributing to content ideas that spotlight artists, and assisting with basic outreach to potential partners or collaborators. The intern may help organize virtual listening sessions, provide feedback on music-focused features, and collaborate with the team on campaigns that celebrate musicians and fans. This is a contract role and a remote position, offering flexible hours designed to accommodate academic commitments.
