Business Development - Internship

Role Description The Business Development Intern will support growth initiatives and partnerships for Heal Cancer Support in a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research to identify potential partners, stakeholders, and user segments, as well as supporting lead generation activities across online and offline channels. The intern will assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and outreach materials, and will engage in communication with prospective partners, donors, and organizations to build relationships. Additional activities include maintaining accurate records of outreach and follow-ups, coordinating meetings and calls, and supporting cross-functional collaboration with operations, marketing, and product teams to advance the organization’s mission.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret market and outreach data for informed decision-making.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication for outreach, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills, with the ability to identify, qualify, and nurture prospective partners and supporters.
Candidates should possess Market Research skills to assess trends, stakeholder needs, and competitive landscapes in the healthcare and social impact sectors.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and professional interaction with patients, families, and partners.
Interest in healthcare, social impact, or non-profit sectors; ability to work on-site in New Delhi in a collaborative environment.
Proficiency in basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations) and comfort with digital platforms for communication and data tracking.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, management, public health, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
