ABOL Growth Partners (AGP) is an emerging strategy and business advisory firm focused on helping companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and organizations understand and pursue growth opportunities across Ethiopia, Africa, and international markets.
Our work focuses on strategy, market intelligence, market entry, growth, and cross-border business development.
We are seeking a motivated Strategy & Research Analyst to support the development of AGP and contribute to research, strategy, and advisory projects.
What You’ll Do
• Conduct industry, company, and market research
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes
• Support market-entry and growth strategy projects
• Identify potential customers, partners, suppliers, and business opportunities
• Assist with preparing client presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations
• Develop Excel-based analyses and market-sizing models
• Support business development and prospective-client research
• Monitor economic and business developments across Ethiopia, Africa, and international markets
• Work directly with AGP leadership on strategic initiatives
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is analytical, curious, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in an early-stage environment.
Preferred qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree or current graduate-level study in business, economics, finance, international affairs, data analytics, or a related field
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to organize complex information and communicate it clearly
• Interest in strategy, consulting, emerging markets, international business, or economic development
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of Ethiopia or African markets is a plus but is not required.
