Role Description The Owner role for the PhD in Public Health in Noida is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing academic, operational, and strategic aspects of the program. Day-to-day tasks include supervising curriculum implementation, guiding faculty and staff, and ensuring alignment with public health education and research standards. The role involves managing student recruitment and admissions processes, supporting student progression and success, and fostering an inclusive, research-driven learning environment. The Owner collaborates with external partners, public health organizations, and academic stakeholders to develop research opportunities, practica, and teaching experiences that reflect current public health priorities. This position also oversees compliance with institutional policies, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of the program’s educational and research outcomes.
Qualifications
Advanced academic preparation in Public Health or a related field (PhD or equivalent preferred), with demonstrated expertise in epidemiology, social and behavioral sciences, or related public health domains.
Experience in academic program leadership, including curriculum oversight, faculty coordination, and student mentoring in higher education or similar settings.
Strong background in public health research, including study design, quantitative and/or qualitative methods, data analysis, and dissemination of scientific findings.
Proven ability to build partnerships with universities, health agencies, NGOs, and private organizations, and to develop collaborative education and research initiatives.
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusive learning environments.
Experience with teaching, course development, or academic training programs, including support for teaching practica or faculty development, is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with public health policy, program evaluation, and quality assurance processes, as well as regional and global public health challenges, is an advantage.
