Role Description The Owner role at ovevo is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing overall business strategy, operations, and financial performance. On a day-to-day basis, the Owner defines strategic priorities, evaluates business opportunities, and sets short- and long-term goals. This role involves managing budgets, monitoring key performance metrics, and making data-informed decisions to drive sustainable growth. The Owner collaborates with partners, clients, and any team members or contractors, providing clear direction and ensuring alignment with the company vision. Additional responsibilities include shaping company culture, managing risks, and continuously improving processes, tools, and services to keep ovevo competitive and resilient.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in business leadership, entrepreneurship, or ownership, with the ability to define and execute a strategic vision.
Strong skills in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, including comfort with analyzing data and interpreting key business metrics.
Proficiency in operations management, process improvement, and resource planning to ensure efficient remote workflows.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation abilities, with experience building relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Proven capability in decision-making, problem-solving, and risk management in fast-changing or ambiguous environments.
Comfort with remote work tools and digital collaboration platforms, and the ability to lead a distributed team or network of contractors.
High level of self-motivation, accountability, and adaptability, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience in entrepreneurship or business leadership is highly valued.
