Job Overview
TGM Gümrük Müşavirliği is seeking an experienced and strategically-minded **Senior Vice President of Finance** to lead the company's financial operations, planning, reporting, and long-term financial strategy.
The Senior Vice President of Finance will be a key member of the senior leadership team, working closely with executive management to support sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and sound financial decision-making. This role will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, and other finance-related functions.
Given the company's involvement in customs, international trade, and related business activities, the ideal candidate should be able to adapt to a cross-border and complex operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the company's overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Collaborate with the CEO and senior management team to develop business strategies, growth plans, investment decisions, and long-term planning.
Oversee financial reporting to ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial information is provided to senior management.
Lead Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), including profitability analysis, cash flow forecasting, scenario modeling, and performance reporting.
Establish and monitor key financial and operational performance indicators.
Oversee treasury management, liquidity management, working capital, banking relations, and capital planning.
Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, governance procedures, and risk management practices.
Coordinate tax, audit, compliance, and regulatory matters with internal teams and external advisors.
Evaluate potential investments, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and other business development opportunities.
Identify opportunities to improve profit margins, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
Support financial system, ERP improvements, process automation, and data-driven reporting projects.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team. Collaborate with operations, business development, legal, human resources, and other departments to support the achievement of overall company objectives.
Provide financial insights, where applicable, regarding international operations, trade-related activities, foreign exchange risk, and cross-border business considerations.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional qualifications are preferred.
12+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or corporate finance leadership.
Extensive senior leadership experience in finance, such as VP of Finance, Senior VP of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, or similar positions.
Proficient in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and internal controls.
Deep understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and recognized corporate financial management practices.
Experience supporting the senior management team and translating financial data into actionable business recommendations.
Ability to lead a finance team and manage complex cross-functional projects.
Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and executive reporting skills. Experience in logistics, customs, international trade, supply chain, professional services, or related industries is preferred.
Experience in international or cross-border business is preferred.
