Role Description The Mergers and Acquisitions Director role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashik. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end M&A activities, including sourcing opportunities, evaluating strategic fit, performing financial and operational analyses, and managing transaction execution. The Director will oversee due diligence processes, coordinate internal and external advisors, and prepare clear recommendations and reports for senior leadership. Daily tasks include building financial models, assessing risks, supporting negotiations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as finance, legal, operations, and corporate development. The role also involves post-transaction integration planning to ensure that acquisitions support Medartis Group’s growth strategy and performance objectives.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analysis.
Expertise in Finance, with experience in corporate or investment finance and transaction structuring.
Proven experience in Due Diligence, including financial, legal, operational, and commercial assessments.
Background in Corporate Development and strategic planning, preferably within healthcare or medical devices.
Demonstrated track record in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), leading deals from origination through integration.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, CPA, MBA) are an advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Ability to work on-site in Nashik, collaborate effectively with global teams, and manage multiple projects under time constraints.
Experience in a multinational environment and familiarity with cross-border transactions is beneficial.
