Role Description The Electrical Supervisor is a full-time role responsible for overseeing electrical work on construction sites and coordinating with project teams to ensure safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems. This hybrid position is based in Khandwa, with primary responsibilities on-site and some tasks that can be completed from home, such as documentation, reporting, and planning. Day-to-day activities include supervising electricians and technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, checking compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations, and inspecting electrical equipment and wiring. The role also involves troubleshooting electrical issues, scheduling preventive maintenance, verifying material and equipment requirements, and collaborating with contractors, engineers, and site management to meet project timelines and quality standards. Accurate recordkeeping of work performed, incidents, test results, and maintenance logs is expected.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering and Electricity knowledge to understand, interpret, and implement technical drawings and specifications.
Candidates should possess hands-on Electrical Maintenance experience, including fault finding, repair, and preventive maintenance of systems.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Electrical Equipment, including safe handling, installation, testing, and inspection procedures.
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution is preferred.
Experience as an electrical supervisor or senior electrician in construction or industrial projects is highly beneficial.
Understanding of relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and site safety practices is required.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project documentation.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and capability to work in a hybrid environment with both on-site and remote responsibilities.
