Role Description The Vice President of Service Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing service delivery across FJDI’s programs and initiatives. This role leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational processes that support justice, development, and economic empowerment services. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding service teams, monitoring performance and impact, resolving complex service issues, and ensuring high levels of stakeholder and community satisfaction. The Vice President collaborates with senior leadership on strategic planning, manages operational budgets and resources, and builds systems for data-driven decision-making. The role also involves developing standards and policies, mentoring managers, and strengthening partnerships to ensure efficient, ethical, and responsive service operations.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, assess program performance, and inform operational decisions.
Proven experience in customer or stakeholder satisfaction, with a focus on responsive, inclusive, and community-centered service delivery.
Demonstrated team leadership skills, including guiding multidisciplinary teams, mentoring staff, and fostering collaboration in remote settings.
Experience in budgeting, resource management, and financial oversight for programs or service operations.
Expertise in strategic planning, translating organizational vision into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
Extensive experience in service operations, program management, or organizational leadership in non-profit, humanitarian, or development contexts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders and partners.
Strong understanding of human rights, justice, peacebuilding, or livelihood programming, preferably in post-conflict or development settings.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, multicultural environment, with high levels of integrity and accountability.
Relevant advanced degree (e.g., Public Administration, Development Studies, Management, Social Sciences) or equivalent professional experience.
