VP of Product Operations

Role Description The VP of Product Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the strategy, design, and optimization of FJDI’s programs, tools, and processes that support justice, development, and economic recovery initiatives. This role oversees product operations across multiple programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, stakeholder needs, and impact metrics. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining and refining product and program roadmaps, coordinating cross-functional collaboration between program teams, operations, and monitoring and evaluation, and streamlining workflows and systems to improve efficiency and outcomes. The VP will analyze data and feedback to inform decisions, standardize best practices, manage complex projects, and support continuous improvement across products and services. The role also involves mentoring team members, contributing to strategic planning, and engaging with partners and donors to ensure that FJDI’s offerings remain relevant, scalable, and sustainable.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Product Operations and Product Management skills to design, implement, and scale effective programs and solutions.
Candidates should possess solid Program Management and Project Management skills to coordinate initiatives, manage timelines, and oversee delivery across multiple workstreams.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate program performance, and inform strategic decisions.
Relevant experience in international development, human rights, post-conflict recovery, or nonprofit program delivery is highly beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to lead remote, cross-functional teams, build collaborative relationships, and manage change in dynamic environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Experience with impact measurement, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and data-driven decision-making is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Development Studies, Public Policy, Business, Management, or related discipline); an advanced degree is an asset.
