Role Description The Performance Manager is a full-time role responsible for overseeing and optimizing business and operational performance across Yral Foods’ retail and B2B channels. Based in Mumbai in a hybrid setup, the role combines on-site collaboration with flexibility for some work-from-home. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking key performance indicators, analyzing sales, supply chain, and productivity data, and preparing performance reports and dashboards for leadership. The Performance Manager will design and implement performance improvement initiatives, coordinate training and capability-building programs, support budgeting and resource allocation, and partner with cross-functional teams such as sales, operations, finance, and marketing. This role also involves recommending process enhancements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and supporting data-driven decision-making to drive growth in domestic and international markets.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated expertise in performance management, including setting targets, monitoring outcomes, and driving continuous improvement.
Experience in training and development, with the ability to design and deliver performance-related training programs.
Budgeting skills, including planning, monitoring, and optimizing costs in line with business objectives.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating both on-site in Mumbai and remotely.
Proficiency with MS Excel and business analytics tools; familiarity with BI dashboards is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
Experience in FMCG, food export, or retail/wholesale operations is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical, inclusive workplace practices.
