Role Description The Market Performer role at Yral Foods is a contract position based in Mumbai, structured as a hybrid role with a combination of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. On a day-to-day basis, the Market Performer will support market development activities, including identifying potential customers, conducting competitive and market research, and assisting in promotional and sales initiatives for Indian food products. The role will involve coordinating with sales, marketing, and operations teams to execute campaigns, gather customer feedback, and track performance in target markets such as the UK and Europe. The Market Performer will also help prepare reports, maintain records of outreach and market responses, and contribute to strategies that improve brand visibility and product reach.
Qualifications
Ability to perform market research, analyze consumer trends, and interpret data to support decision-making.
Skills in basic sales support, customer outreach, and relationship building with retail and B2B clients.
Familiarity with marketing activities such as promotions, social media support, and brand positioning.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
Organizational skills for managing multiple tasks, maintaining records, and meeting deadlines.
Comfort working in a hybrid environment, collaborating both on-site in Mumbai and remotely.
Understanding of or interest in FMCG or food and beverage markets; experience in export or international trade is an advantage.
Relevant education in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
