Role Description The (Director of Financial Management) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all core financial management activities for DApps Platform lc. This role includes leading financial planning and budgeting processes, supervising the preparation and review of financial statements, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to leadership and stakeholders. The director will monitor cash flow, assess financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to support profitability and sustainable growth. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial performance, implementing internal controls, supporting compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on business planning and investment decisions. The role also involves mentoring finance team members, optimizing financial systems and tools, and providing clear, data-backed recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, with the ability to apply financial concepts to strategic and operational decisions.
Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and resource allocation.
Experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable standards.
Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and support evidence-based recommendations.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an advantage.
Proven experience in senior finance or financial management roles, preferably in technology, fintech, or digital platform environments.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high standards of ethics and integrity.
