Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organized Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the hiring process from candidate sourcing through interview coordination and onboarding preparation. This role will work closely with hiring managers and candidates to help maintain an efficient and professional recruiting process.
The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills, enjoys working with people, and can manage multiple recruiting activities at the same time. Previous experience in recruiting, human resources, customer service, sales, or administration is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Source and identify potential candidates through online platforms and recruiting channels.
Review resumes and applications against position requirements.
Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening.
Communicate position information and next steps to candidates.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain accurate candidate records in applicant tracking systems.
Schedule interviews, meetings, and recruiting activities.
Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Maintain an organized pipeline of active and prospective candidates.
Assist with preparing and posting position advertisements.
Support hiring managers with candidate information and interview coordination.
Track recruiting activity, candidate status, and hiring progress.
Assist with reference checks and pre-employment processes when applicable.
Support onboarding preparation for selected candidates.
Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information.
Prepare basic recruiting reports and activity summaries.
Assist with improving sourcing and candidate-engagement processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Previous recruiting, HR, customer service, sales, or administrative experience is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Comfortable communicating with candidates through email, phone, chat, and other digital channels.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple candidates, schedules, and priorities.
Comfortable using computers and standard office applications.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with hiring teams.
Professional and candidate-focused communication style.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Experience using LinkedIn or other professional recruiting platforms.
Basic understanding of recruiting and talent-acquisition processes.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Experience with scheduling and virtual interview platforms.
Basic knowledge of employment documentation and recruiting practices.
Previous remote recruiting or HR experience.
