Executive Vice President

Role Description The Executive Vice President role is a full-time remote position responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight across the company’s civil engineering and construction activities. The person in this role will collaborate with the executive team to define long-term business objectives, drive business development initiatives, and strengthen client and stakeholder relationships. Daily responsibilities include reviewing project performance, aligning resources to key priorities, overseeing budgets and financial targets, and ensuring that projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Executive Vice President will guide senior managers, promote cross-functional collaboration, and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability. This role also involves preparing executive reports, representing the company in high-level meetings, and supporting the development of policies and governance frameworks.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, or related industries, with responsibility for multi-site or large-scale operations.
Strong background in strategic planning, business development, and stakeholder management, including managing client relationships and partnerships.
Competence in financial management, budgeting, and performance monitoring, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Experience in project governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance, preferably within the civil engineering or construction sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams in a remote environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor senior managers, drive change initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Familiarity with project management tools, collaboration platforms, and modern business productivity software; comfort working in a remote setup.
