Solution Architect
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise-scale technology solutions. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, security, operations, and platform teams to define solution strategies, create architecture artifacts, and guide initiatives from requirements through production deployment.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, API and integration design, architecture governance, and technical leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance business outcomes, technical excellence, scalability, security, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
Own enterprise solutions from requirements gathering through production implementation.
Develop and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs), solution blueprints, and architecture documentation.
Guide engineering teams through detailed design and implementation activities.
Define scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable solution architectures.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
Drive modernization initiatives across applications, integrations, and platforms.
Architecture Governance
Participate in and present to Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and Solution Review Boards.
Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, and security requirements.
Evaluate technical risks, dependencies, and architectural tradeoffs.
Create and maintain architecture artifacts, standards, and reference architectures.
Facilitate architecture reviews and design approvals across stakeholders.
Cloud & Platform Architecture
Design and support enterprise solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
Develop cloud-native and hybrid-cloud architecture patterns.
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure reliability, scalability, observability, and supportability.
Define integration patterns and API governance standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with business leaders, product owners, engineering teams, and operations groups.
Communicate architecture decisions and technical direction to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Mentor development teams on architecture best practices and enterprise standards.
Lead technical workshops and solution design sessions.
Required Qualifications
Experience
10+ years of technology experience.
5+ years of dedicated Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Technical Architecture experience.
Proven experience owning enterprise solutions from conception through production deployment.
Experience with architecture governance processes and technical review boards.
Experience creating High-Level Designs (HLDs) and reviewing Detailed Designs (DDs).
