Role Description The Fundraising Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for designing and executing fundraising strategies to support the growth and expansion plans of food and hospitality brands. Day-to-day tasks include identifying potential funding sources, conducting prospect research, preparing proposals and fundraising materials, and managing donor and investor relationships. The Fundraising Consultant will collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand business needs, align funding plans with brand strategy, and monitor the performance of fundraising campaigns. The role also involves tracking fundraising metrics, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Fundraising and Philanthropy, with the ability to design and implement effective fundraising campaigns.
Experience in Planned Giving and Annual Giving programs, including structuring long-term giving and recurring support initiatives.
Strong skills in Prospect Research, including identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing potential donors and investors.
Solid understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and basic investment concepts relevant to hospitality and food brands.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling proposals and presentations.
Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships and negotiate funding terms in a professional manner.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field; advanced degree or fundraising certification is an advantage.
Prior experience in consulting, fundraising, or business development, ideally within hospitality, F&B, or consumer brands.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects on-site in Mumbai.
