Role Description The RMC Plant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for overseeing daily ready-mix concrete plant operations. The role includes managing production schedules, monitoring material quality, coordinating dispatch and logistics, and ensuring efficient utilization of equipment and resources. The Plant Manager supervises plant staff, enforces safety and environmental compliance, and maintains machinery in coordination with maintenance teams. The position also involves tracking operational costs, optimizing processes, maintaining documentation and reporting, and collaborating with sales and project teams to meet customer requirements and delivery timelines.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Plant Management and Plant Operations to oversee day-to-day functioning of the RMC plant.
Experience in Operations Management and Production Planning to manage capacity, schedules, and resource allocation.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Operations, particularly in ready-mix concrete or related construction materials.
Understanding of quality control processes, mix design basics, and adherence to relevant industry standards.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental compliance, and equipment maintenance practices.
Effective communication skills for coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering or a related field; prior experience in RMC or construction industry is highly preferred.
