Role Description The Vibration Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, Hazira Surat, Jamnagar Gujarat responsible for monitoring and analyzing vibration data on rotating equipment to detect faults and prevent failures. Day-to-day tasks include conducting vibration surveys, performing condition monitoring activities, and interpreting diagnostic results to recommend corrective actions. The role involves collaborating with maintenance and operations teams, supporting troubleshooting efforts, and preparing clear technical reports and documentation. The Vibration Analyst may also assist with dynamic balancing, laser alignment checks, and oil analysis coordination to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Vibration Analysis and Condition Monitoring techniques for rotating equipment.
Ability to apply Analytical Skills to interpret vibration data, identify trends, and diagnose equipment issues.
Experience in Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults based on vibration and related diagnostic information.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
Familiarity with vibration monitoring instruments, data collection software, and reporting tools.
Attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and ability to work effectively on-site in industrial environments.
Good communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and presenting technical findings.
Prior experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or similar roles in industrial settings is an advantage.
