Role Overview
We are hiring an Online Tutor to teach and support students remotely across a defined subject area. The role combines deep subject knowledge with strong pedagogy — helping students actually understand the material, not just pass the test.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions over video
- Develop personalised lesson plans aligned to student goals
- Track student progress and adjust approaches based on data
- Communicate with parents and guardians on student progress where appropriate
- Maintain accurate session notes and student records
- Stay current on curriculum standards and exam formats in your subject area
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in your subject area or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience
- Strong subject expertise and ability to explain concepts clearly
- Comfort with video tutoring platforms and digital whiteboards
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Patience and care for student outcomes
