Role Description This on-site Testing and Commissioning Engineer role is based in Mumbai. The engineer will perform electrical testing and commissioning activities for systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing test procedures, analyzing test results, identifying and troubleshooting faults, and documenting commissioning reports. The role involves close coordination with project teams, clients, and contractors to support smooth handover, resolve technical issues, and optimize system performance. The engineer will also assist in reviewing drawings, providing technical inputs during installation, and supporting continuous improvement of testing and commissioning processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Testing and Testing of power and control systems.
Candidates should possess practical expertise as Commissioning Engineers, including planning, executing, and documenting commissioning activities.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical system issues.
Candidates should possess a foundation in Electrical Engineering, including knowledge of standards, safety codes, and system design principles.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience with industrial or infrastructure projects, such as power plants, substations, or large manufacturing facilities, is beneficial.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications, and to work safely in on-site industrial environments.
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
