Role Description The Architectural Drafter will create detailed architectural and construction drawings based on design concepts, sketches, and specifications provided by architects and project managers. Day-to-day tasks include developing floor plans, elevations, sections, and details; updating drawings through each project phase; and ensuring all documentation aligns with building codes, standards, and client requirements. The role involves collaborating remotely with architects, engineers, and other team members, participating in digital design reviews, and maintaining organized drawing files and revisions. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent communication, adherence to project deadlines, and a strong focus on accuracy and clarity in all drawings.
Qualifications
Ability to produce precise Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings that support design intent and buildability.
Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning to interpret concepts and translate them into practical documentation.
Strong Drawing skills, including attention to detail and proficiency with relevant CAD or BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
Understanding of building codes, materials, and construction methods, with experience in residential and/or commercial projects preferred.
Certificate, diploma, or degree in architecture, architectural technology, drafting, or a related field is beneficial.
Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear written and verbal communication and reliable time management.
Ability to work independently, respond to feedback constructively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
