Role Description The QA/QC Inspector E&I is a full-time, on-site role based in Bihar, responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities for electrical and instrumentation work. Daily tasks include inspecting installations, materials, and welding-related activities, verifying compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards, and documenting inspection findings and test results. The role involves preparing and reviewing quality reports, participating in inspections with clients and third parties, and supporting non-conformance investigations and corrective actions. The inspector collaborates closely with engineering, construction, and safety teams to ensure consistent implementation of quality procedures and continuous improvement in site practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Inspection skills focused on electrical and instrumentation work.
Candidates should possess Quality Assurance and Quality Management skills to implement and maintain project quality plans and procedures.
Candidates should possess Welding Inspection skills relevant to structural and piping works associated with E&I projects.
Candidates should possess knowledge of applicable industry standards and codes (e.g., IEC, IEEE, relevant welding codes) and familiarity with QA/QC documentation and reporting.
Candidates should possess practical experience in heavy industry, construction, or industrial projects, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Candidates should possess strong communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in a dynamic project environment.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field, along with applicable QA/QC certifications, is preferred.
