About the Role
InCharge Energy is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to help shape and execute the company’s long-term strategic direction.
As a member of the executive leadership team, the Chief Strategy Officer will work closely with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, evaluate market developments, strengthen strategic partnerships, and translate corporate priorities into actionable initiatives.
This is a remote leadership position offering the opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making in the rapidly evolving electric mobility and energy infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of company-wide strategic initiatives and long-term growth priorities.
Partner with executive leadership to evaluate new markets, business models, partnerships, and expansion opportunities.
Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting EV charging and energy infrastructure.
Develop strategic frameworks and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Identify opportunities for organic growth, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and other corporate development initiatives.
Lead market assessments, competitive analysis, and business-case development for major strategic opportunities.
Coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives involving operations, sales, marketing, finance, technology, and other business functions.
Establish measurable objectives and performance indicators for major strategic programs.
Support annual and long-range business planning processes.
Present strategic recommendations, market insights, and business updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Help ensure alignment between corporate strategy, operational priorities, and long-term organizational objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Strategy, or a related discipline; advanced degree such as an MBA preferred.
Significant leadership experience in corporate strategy, business development, management consulting, corporate development, energy, transportation, technology, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing enterprise-level growth strategies.
Strong understanding of market analysis, financial evaluation, competitive positioning, and strategic planning.
Experience working with executive leadership and managing complex cross-functional initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving and evolving business environment.
Experience within EV charging, electrification, clean energy, energy infrastructure, automotive, or mobility is highly valued.
