Role Description The NIL Athlete Relations & Social Media Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting Electro’s relationships with college and professional athletes and enhancing our digital presence. Day-to-day responsibilities include communicating with NIL athlete ambassadors, assisting with onboarding and campaign coordination, and helping manage athlete-related partnerships and deliverables. The intern will support social media content planning, creation, and scheduling across platforms, including drafting posts, collecting athlete-generated content, and monitoring engagement. Additional tasks may include tracking performance metrics, compiling reports on ambassador and social campaigns, and collaborating with marketing and partnerships teams to ensure consistent brand messaging. This role is ideal for a candidate interested in sports, NIL marketing, and social media who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Qualifications
Strong interest in athlete marketing, NIL, and sports business, with familiarity or experience in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube).
Skills in content creation and digital communication, including drafting social posts, capturing or curating visual content, and engaging online communities.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships, communicate clearly with athletes and internal teams, and manage ambassador communications with attention to detail.
Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to track tasks, meet deadlines, and support multiple campaigns or partnerships simultaneously.
Basic comfort with data and reporting, such as monitoring social media metrics, ambassador performance, and campaign results using standard tools or dashboards.
Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
Relevant academic focus (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, Business, or related field) or equivalent experience is beneficial.
Previous internship or project experience in social media, influencer marketing, or sports-related roles is a plus but not required.
